SINOMA Organizes Open Day for Staff to Celebrate Chinese and Nigerian Cultures.

Sinoma Nigeria Limited, a renouned global giant in building materials has organized a cross cultural festival for its staff to celebrate Nigeria and Chinese cultures.

The event tagged: “family members of Nigeria and Chinese employees”, took place on Wednesday, 9th August, at Sinoma headquarters in Katampe extension, Abuja, and was aimed at promoting the cross fertilization of cultural ties between Nigeria and China.

Mr. Jakie Dai, the Executive Deputy Managing Director of Sinoma Nigeria Limited, who spoke to the press at the event opined that the event was created to build staff moral. He declared thus: “the open day as envisaged, creates a rear opportunity to appreciate Nigeria from different perspectives. It is our wish to break new vistas for Nigeria.”
He noted that, Sinoma Nigeria Limited trades in EPC, Procurement, Construction and Engineering. Sinoma also has three factories in Nigeria with an additional two in the pipeline. “We are also a leading service provider for cement. Currently, we are partnering with BUA Group, GIGA and Larfarge Groups, here in Nigeria”.

He added that Sinoma is currently growing fast and expanding because Nigeria is a fertilizing ground to do business, “l have travelled far and wide but as soon as I visited Nigeria, I noticed that Nigerians are very Noble and friendly people. Nigeria is a very big market that needs foreign investments and Sonoma is here at your disposal,” he stated.

Concerning its staff, Mr Jakie stated that Sinoma Nigeria Limited holds its staff in high esteem and has invested tremendously in staff capacity building and development.

“In Nigeria, our staff strength is; 1,200 Chinese and 30,000 Nigerians. Out of the 30,000 Nigerian staff, 5,000 are direct staff. We have three branches in Abuja. One in Katampe Extension which doubles as the headqurters in Abuja and two other branches located in Kuje. Our other branches in Nigeria are in Sokoto, Kuje and Ogun States.

Mr. Jakie emphasised that Sinoma would continue to grow, provide jobs and technical trainings and expertise to Nigerians. “We have resolved to assist Nigeria in establishing the basis for technological growth and development as prevalent in China and other advanced countries of the world,” he declared.

Other management staff of Sinoma Nigeria Limited and creme de la creme who graced the cultural festival include, Han Ti Chao, Assistant Managing Director, Chi Fei Hu and Chris Loni.

Other staff present at the event include; The Marketing Manager, Wu Shuang, Mrs Obiageri C. Henshaw and Daniel Mejabi.
