Sokoto APC Transition Committee Conducts Success Prayer For Incoming Administration

As part of the numerous programmes scheduled for the successful inauguration of APC administration in Sokoto State, the Transition Committee has organized special prayers for Allah’s continued guidance.

Speaking, Senator Wamakko said the prayer was aimed at seeking Allah’s assistance for the success of the incoming administration in the State and that of the Federal Government under President-elect Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Senator Wamakko, while welcoming the Chief Imams of various Jumu’at Mosques, Islamic scholars and many stakeholders in the State, acknowledged their contributions and appreciated them for their continued support and fervent prayers to APC leadership.

He thanked them for attending the prayer session and assured them of his continued corporation at all times.

The statement by Bashar Abubakar also said the prayer session was coordinated by Mallam Bashir Gidan Kanawa and conducted by 13 Islamic scholars.

Prominent among them was the Chief Imam of Sultan Bello Jumu’at Mosque, Imam Malami Akwara, Sarkin Mallaman Sokoto, Mallam Yahaya Na Malam Boyi, Alkalin Mallaman Sokoto, Mallam Umar Ahmad Helele and Mallam Bello Kofa.

Other scholars included: Sheikh Abdul’aziz Kofar Rini, Sheikh Yahuza Shehu Tambuwal, Mallam Yusuf Labbo and Mallam Nafiu Malami Dan Haja, among others.

The prayer session was attended by the Governor -in – waiting, Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, his deputy, Alh. Idris Mohammed Gobir, former Deputy Governor, Alh. Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo, two former Ambassadors, Abubakar Shehu Wurno and Sahabi Isah Gada

Others were: APC bigwig in the State, Alhaji. Umarun kwabo AA, Hon. Bala Hassan Abubakar, Member – elect, House of Representatives, Sokoto North and South Federal Constituency, politicians and business tycoons, among others.

The prayer was conducted at the Tinubu Hall, Gawon Nama Area, Sokoto.
