Sokoto Chapter Of The APC Conducts Maiden Governorship Campaign

The campaign inaugurated at Wamakko,hometown of the Campaign Chairman,Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko was witnessed by teeming supporters from across the 23 local governments in the state.

Declaring the commencement of the campaign opened,Senator Wamakko also presented flags to the political positions contestants and challenged them to consider social wellbeing of their electorates if voted into power come February this year.

The aspiring governorship candidate Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto in his campaign stategy revealed his leadership’s eight points agenda if voted into power saying health,agriculture,education,water,among others will top his agenda.

Similarly,while promising improvement on social wellbeing of the people of Sokoto state,Ahmad Sokoto said every household will benefit with devidence of democracy irrespective of ethnicity,religion or cultural background adding that his leadership style surpass in qualities all the past leaderships.

The party Chairman Isah Sadiq Achida in his remarks at the venue, pointed out weaknesses of the PDP leadership saying the leadership has neither concern for its supporters nor for the entire populace of Sokoto state adding that the party lacks focus in all aspects of human development.

Other Speakers in the person of Ibrahim Umar Arkilla,Zonal Secretary of the APC Barrister Bello Muhammad Goronyo,Zonal APC Women leader Hadiza Abubakar Shagari and host of others expressed support for the candidature of Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto with the promise to do their best in seing that all APC contesting candidates win their positions.
