Sokoto Drugs Abuse Control Committee Holds Maiden Meeting

The Hon Commissioner of Health and Chairman of the Sokoto State Drug Abuse Control Committee Dr Ali Muhammad Inname has presided the maiden meeting of the committee at EOC Specialist Hospital, Sokoto.

The Chairman explained that the committee has decided to set up and inaugurate 4 sub committees to facilitate its activities.

The four committees accordingly are the Enlightenment/Sensitization,
Enforcement Committee, Research and the Treatment and rehabilitation Committee.

The sub committees according to the Chairman have been given 3 weeks within which to prepare and submit their respective Action Plan to the main committee .
