Sokoto Government Acknowledges UNICEF Support

The Sokoto State government has reaffirmed its commitment to providing unwavering support to UNICEF and other development partners working within the state.

Deputy Governor Alhaji Idris Mohammed Gobir expressed this dedication while receiving Mrs. Maryam Sa’id, the outgoing UNICEF Chief of Field Office in Sokoto, during her farewell visit at Villa One in Sokoto.

The Deputy Governor’s media aide, Garba Muhammad, further stated that Deputy Governor Alhaji Idris Gobir emphasized that this commitment aims to facilitate the activities of these organizations, ultimately contributing to the progress and development of the state. He expressed his deep appreciation for UNICEF’s significant efforts in assisting the state.
