Her Excellency, Fatima Ahmad Aliyu, the wife of Sokoto State Governor, has been awarded the “Outstanding Mother of the Year” award for 2024 by Amazing Fame Concept in collaboration with the Sokoto Youth Forum.
The award was presented on behalf of the organizers by the former Member of the 9th Assembly, who represented the Bodinga-Dange Shuni and Tureta Federal Constituency. He congratulated the First Lady, describing the award as both well-deserved and based on merit.
Mrs. Aliyu, who was represented at the award ceremony by Hajiya Hadiza Ahmad Shagari, the Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, expressed her gratitude to the organizers for the recognition.
In her speech, the First Lady referred to the award as “special” and emphasized that it would serve as a motivation for her to continue her service to humanity.
The ceremony took place at the Command Guest House in Sokoto.
