Bandit-terrorists kidnap mother, baby, 2 others in Zaria

A mother, her baby and two other peasants were kidnapped by terrorists in Zaria, Kaduna State.
Journalists were told that “in the early hours of Friday, gunmen attacked the Tudun Mun tsira village of Zangon Shanu, Samaru in Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State”
“They kidnapped a nursing mother and her baby. An elderly man, Mallam Abubakar Garba Aliyu and his son, Salim Abubakar, were also taken away.”
” Abubakar and his family relocated to the area recently. Today he was kidnapped,” a local said.
“The gunmen who rode motorbikes were many. They took over the area with their guns from the backside of the University .”
“Initially, we thought they were from kasuwar Da’a axis in Giwa Local Government Area which is close to us.
“They kidnapped the nursing mother and her baby at Tudun Mun Tsira village before proceeding to Hayin Liman where they kidnapped Alhaji Abubakar and his son.”
Journalists were still awaiting a reaction from the authorities on the sad development.

Couple Arrested In Ogun For Selling Their Baby For N50,000
A couple residing at Ilara area of Ode Remo, in Remo North Local Government Area of Ogun State have been arrested for selling their one-month-old baby for the sum of N50,000.
The police public relations officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi who disclosed this in a press statement said the buyer is currently at large and efforts are ongoing to rescue the baby.
“The suspects, Eze Onyebuchi and his wife Oluchi Eze were arrested on the 16 of December 2021, following an information received by policemen at Ode Remo divisional headquarters, that the couple resident at Ayegbami Street, Ilara Remo willingly sold their one-month-old baby to a woman who is now at large,” he said.
He added that upon receiving the information, the Divisional Police Officer, Ode Remo Division, CSP Olayemi Fagbohun mobilised his detectives to the area where the couple was arrested and brought to the station.
Upon interrogation, the suspects explained to the police that, it was one Mrs. Ruth Obajimi, who directed the yet-to-be-identified buyer to them, saying that the woman came to them on the 14th of December 2021 and told them that she is from the Human rights office and that she will help them to foster their child.
The suspects, Eze Onyebuchi and his wife Oluchi Eze were arrested on December 16, 2021.
“The woman then gave them the sum of fifty thousand naira and they handed over the baby to her despite not knowing her from Adam,” the statement added.
He however said that efforts are on to apprehend the said woman with the view to rescuing the baby.
The State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the anti-human trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation
He also directed a massive manhunt for the buyer who is currently on the run.

Popular Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel has opened up on how being a father has changed his life.
Recall that the 27-year-old singer welcomed his twin boys; Jamil and Jelani sometime in May 2021.
Kizz Daniel also revealed he had triplets but lost one named ‘Jamal’ four days after.
In a question and answer with fans on Instagram, Kizz Daniel disclosed that although being a father is great, it has restricted him in some ways.
He mentioned that fatherhood has made him responsible and boring as he cannot use some words or act in certain ways in order to be a good role model for his children.
Kizz Daniel said:
“Firstly being a father made me responsible, secondly I became fvcking boring I can’t even use the word fvck in the house because someone will be like don’t use the word around my kids it’s going to corrupt their mind at a little age.
“But fatherhood is good. You become more experienced and automatically a better person because you want to be a role model to your kids.”

LUTH hospitalises baby found abandoned in its premises
The Lagos University Teaching Hospital is calling on members of the public looking for a baby girl to visit the hospital for identification.
A baby girl was found abandoned at the Pharmacy Unit of the Accident and Emergency Centre of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Idi-Araba, on Monday, March 8, 2021.
The baby was taken in and is being cared for by LUTH.
According to a press statement signed Tuesday, March 9, by Ag. Head, Corporate Services Division, LUTH, Pius Ewa, on behalf of the Chief Medical Director, the unidentified baby is currently being managed at the Children Emergency Centre of the hospital.
“The management is using this medium to appeal to members of the public who may be looking for a baby (female) to visit the Lagos University Teaching Hospital for identification,” it stated.
The statement adds that, “Enquiries should be directed to the Corporate Services Division, 2nd Floor, Accident and Emergency Building, LUTH, Idi-Araba (Tel. No. 08126843334/08035454054).”

American comedian, Kevin Hart and wife share photo of their newborn baby
American comedian/entertainer, Kevin Hart and his better half Eniko Hart have shared first photograph of their infant girl, Kaori Mai Hart.
Pleased mother, Eniko took to Instagram on Monday to share a charming photograph of herself holding her infant and afterward wrote in her subtitle: “When your heart truly lives outside of your body once more. Ori my young lady you are all that I could’ve ever envisioned in addition to additional.
In another picture she posted, every one of Kevin’s children were seen presenting together at home with Hendrix holding his younger sibling in his arm.

Kevin and Eniko Hart welcomed their girl on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.
The new addition is Kevin’s fourth child as he as of now has a 2-year-old child with Eniko and shares daughter Heaven, 15, and son Hendrix, 12, with his ex, Torrei Hart.

American rapper, Nicki Minaj welcomes a baby with husband Kenneth Petty
American rapper, Nicki Minaj has welcomed her first child with 42-year-old husband Kenneth Petty.
The singer gave birth on Wednesday in Los Angeles. However, the gender of the child and the name are not yet known.
The 37-year-old performer has earlier announced in late July she was was ‘preggers’ and has since shared many photos of her baby bump on social media.

To unveil her pregnancy to her fans in late July, the singer uploaded a snapshot of herself and Kenneth to her Instagram page on July 20.

Former President, Goodluck Jonathan’s daughter, Faith Edward and husband welcome 4th child
Former Nigeria President, Goodluck Jonathan’s daughter, Faith Edward, and her husband, Godswill, on Thursday, welcomed their fourth baby.
Faith with her husband welcomed the bouncing baby boy on September 17.
The proud father took to his verified social media handle to share the good news. He wrote;
”I give God almighty the praise, for the awesome gift of a bouncing baby boy. Help me welcome the new Prince of the P7 dynasty.” Faith wrote
The couple got married in 2014 and already have three children, a boy, and two girls.

Nightlife king, Lascatter, accused by wife of sexually abusing their 5-month-old baby
A 24-year-old woman, Diana Faith, has called on the Lagos State Government, Inspector General of Police (IGP), and other relevant authorities to investigate her husband, Temidayo Lucky Kafaru, aka Lascatter, for allegedly sexually molesting their five-month-old baby, among other offences.

Guardian News reports that Faith alleged that her estranged husband, raped her maid who is a minor and also molested his baby by putting his manhood in the baby’s mouth.
Reports indicate that the legal counsel to the wife, Bamidele Ogundele, reported the case to the Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT) at Alausa, Ikeja and Temidayo was invited, but he didn’t show up.
According to DSVRT Coordinator, Tolulope Rodes-Vivour Adeniyi, he promised to come on the appointed date, July 27, 2020, but didn’t show up.
Temidayo through his counsel, Ebinmi Beredugo, filed a fundamental rights suit dated July 3, 2020 before the Lagos High Court. With the suit, he wants the court to stop the police from arresting him.
Recall that the couple’s wedding in 2019, was the talk of the town as social media went agog and celebrities like Alexx Ekubo, Angela Okorie amongst others graced the occasion.

Congratulations are in order for Nigerian disc jockey, Rotimi Alakija popularly known as DJ Exclusive who took to Instagram to announce the birth of his baby girl, Avery.
Sharing a picture of himself and his baby on Instagram, the 39 year old wrote;

Ed Sheeran welcomes first child
Popular English singer and songwriter, Ed Sheeran and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
The excited music star and new father took to his social media page on Tuesday to break the news alongside a photo of baby blanket and socks.
The 29-year-old singer revealed that they welcomed the baby last week, adding that the mother and child are in good condition.
He also disclosed the baby’s name as Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.
He wrote;
“Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you… Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter – Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran,”
“We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here.”
Sheeran, however, appealed to the public to respect the family’s privacy during this period, noting that he would divulge further information “when it’s time to come back.”
“We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back…,” he added.
