    Extends Your Palliatives To Rural Areas, Group Urged Dangote, BUA.

    Rural dwellers in Kano state have called on the Chairmen and chief executive officers of Dangote and BUA group of companies to extends their palliatives to rural areas where majority of the average Nigerians resides.

    The call was made by a youth association in Kano, popularly known as “Rural dwellers redemption group”, in a press statement signed and issued to Daybreak news by the association’s chairman Malam Musa Sanusi, where they advised Alhaji Aliko Dangote Chairman Dangote group and Alhaji Abdussamad Isyaku Rabiu, Chairman BUA group to expand their palliatives to rural communities where vulnerable citizens resides.

    The statement further commended the two billionaires for their untiring assistance they rendered to the people of all categories that comprises food items, medicines, Isolation centres and many other things that reduces the effects of Covid-19 in Nigeria, where they called on other wealthy citizens to emulate what Dangote and BUA is doing to average Nigerians without bias.

    ” our association would continue to thank Alhaji Dangote and Alhaji Abdussamad Rabiu for using their wealth to assist the needy without tiredness, and we hope that they would extends their helping hands to rural poor where most of the people did not benefit with such kind gesture”. The statement concluded.

    President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with foremost industrialist, investor and philanthropist, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday anniversary, wishing him and his loved ones a splendid day.

    The president, in a congratulatory message by his spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, in Abuja on Friday, saluted the large-heartedness of Africa’s wealthiest man, noting that ”it is one thing to be so blessed, and another to use the wealth to the glory of God and for the good of humanity”.

    According to him, Dangote has always stood to be counted whenever it mattered, judging by his generous contributions to the fight against Polio, Ebola disease, the current Coronavirus, and many other challenges which have faced Nigeria and the African continent.

    Buhari therefore prayed God to grant the ”great son of Nigeria” long life, good health and further successes in all areas of endeavour.

    Africa’s richest man, Dangote who is the President of Dangote Group moved up to the 64th position with an estimated worth of N6,020,820,000 ($16.6 billion), His move to the 64th position is a highly significant considering he was previously ranked 103rd in the world.

    Dangote who has been named the richest man in Africa for the 8 consecutive year, was the only Nigerian on the list of the top 500 billionaires, as released by Bloomberg in its yearly billionaires list.

    Jeff Bezos is ranked first with an estimated net worth of N49,327,200,000,000 ($136 billion) while Bill Gates and Warren Buffett ranked second and third respectively with N35,689,680,000,000 ($98.4 billion) and N30,104,100,000,000 ($83 billion) on the list that is dominated by North Americans.

    It would be recalled that Dangote, was also recently named as the sixth most charitable man in the world by Richtopia, a digital periodical that covers business, economics, and financial news, based in the United Kingdom.
