    M/Belt Forum condoles Family, SOKAPU over demise of ACDA President

    The National President Dr Bitrus Pogu and the entire members of Middle Belt Forum, Kaduna State Chapter, have condoled with the entire family of the late and Southern kaduna people’s Union (SOKAPU) over the death of President of Atyap Development Association (ACDA) Dr Silas Adamu.
    The condolence message which is contained in the statement issued on Thursday and signed by Kaduna State secretary of the forum John Haruna, stated that Dr. Adamu died of motor accident.
    The statement stressed that “I wish to express and send our deepest, Sincere Condolences to the entire family of Late  Dr Silas Adamu  on His passing unto glory on Monday 8/3/2021 after a ghastly motor accident that also claimed the life of his beloved Wife  and Daughter.
    “The news of their death came to us as  rude shock. Dr Silas was a complete gentle man, always dedicated to his assigned duties at all times. He was committed and strong member of the Forum. We will surely missed him.
    “Dr Silas Adamu who was the President of Atyap Community Development Associations (ACDA) was a distinguished man of virtue and honour among his colleagues. His death is a deadly blow to the entire Middle Belt Forum’s Family, SOKAPU and Atyap Chiefdom.
    “God Almighty will comfort the family they left behind and give them the strength they need at this moment”, it stated..
    Forum also noted that the “Death is the last chapter of time but the first chapter of eternity.
    “Our Condolences also goes to the President of SOKAPU  Hon Jonathan Asake and his team, The Agwatyap, His Highness, Dominic Gambo Yahaya over this tragic lost of these great men and women.we pray that God who created Man and Woman and equally brought this to us will console and comfort you all.
    “The Bible says, “Stay not in grief that he is no more, but in thankfulness that he was. The remembrance of the righteous is a blessing. Proverbs 10: 7. To God of all flesh be all the glory”, it stated.
    The forum”‘s also condoles with the family on behalf of all members of the Board of Trustees, National Executive Council (NEC) of the middle belt..

    Tragedy: Atyap community president, Wife, Daughter die in ghastly accident

    The President, Atyap Community Development Association (ACDA) Dr Silas Adamu, his Wife and Daughter died in ghastly motor accident in Kaduna.
    The tragic incident occurred on Monday 8th March 2021, along Abuja- Kaduna expressway when the trio were returning to Kaduna from a burial in Bayelsa State.
    In a condolence statement, SOKAPU’ youth wing described the incident as a big lost, not only to the Atyap Nation but to the  entire Southern Kaduna region. Kaduna state and the Nation at large.
    The national of the youth Wing headed by John Isaac also extend it’s deepest condolences to the Agwam Atyap and the entire Atyap Nation over the death of the President of ACDA) Dr Silas Adamu, his beloved Wife and Daughter.
    They lamented that the sad event  came at a time the entire people of the Southern Kaduna region needs the wealth of experiences of “it’s very own best(which Dr Adamu represents) especially in the ongoing peace building efforts in the region.
    Similarly, the Chairman Northern Speakers Forum and Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Zailani has said that he received with rude shock the death of the President of Tsaunin Kura GRA Residents Association (Sabo GRA), Comrade Dr. Silas Adamu.
    Zailani who expressed this in a statement signed by his Chief of Staff Haruna Jafaru Sambo   and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Tuesday, described his death alongside wife and daughter from a ghastly car accident along Kaduna-Abuja Highway as devastating.
    “We have lost a rare gem who has contributed tremendously to his community and our dear State.
    Zailani urged Sabo GRA, his immediate family, Atyap Community Development Association (ACDA) where he was president and Kaduna State to take solace in the fact that he lived a fulfilled life.
    “We will surely miss him greatly, but we are consoled by the fact that his works will live long after him. I pray God grants him eternal rest and comforts his loved ones,” he added.

    Atyap President Commends Kaduna Govt, Security for Preventing attack on Gora Gan

    Kaduna State Government and security agencies have been commended for promptly intervened in an intelligence report and chased away bandits, planning what would have been a bloody attack on Gora Gan community in Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Southern kaduna.

    The President of Atyap Community Development Association (ACDA).Comrade Dr. Silas Adamu made the commendation in a statement signed and made available to newsmen on Thursday in Kaduna.
    “The pro-activeness of our able Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai-led government was able to prevent bloodshed by deploying security personnel to our forests and surrounding bushes around Gora Gan on Friday February 4, 2021, where bandits had planned to attack and were believed to already be mobilising foot soldiers.

    “We communicated with the ever hard working Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Hon. Samuel Aruwan, who acted promptly by coordinating the security personnel deployment,” the statement said. ACDA therefore, called on all Atyaps to be law abiding and always report suspicious characters to its leadership or security agencies.

    “Security is everyone’s business. We all should make sure we keep surveillance over our communities, while keeping security agencies informed of any suspicious movements,” ACDA charged.
