    House of Representatives Member, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has assured Nigerians that the nation will rise again and actualise the hopes and aspirations of its founding fathers, despite the country’s current challenges.

    She also felicitated with members of her constituency and all Muslims across the Nation on the occasion of the Eid-Al Fitri, which marks the end of the Ramadan fasting.

    In a goodwill message signed by her media aide, Olamilekan Olusada today, the Oluyole Federal Representative urged Nigerians not to relent in offering prayers for the Nation, during and after the Eid-ul Fitri.

    “We should jointly pray for our Nation, as the tragic incidents bedevilling our dear country is threatening our unity. We must come together as one, to stop this”, she said.

    Muslims across the world began the one month long fasting about a month ago.

    Meanwhile, Rep. Akande-Sadipe also used the opportunity to congratulate workers across the Nation in acknowledgement of the 2022 May Day celebration.

    The House of Representatives Committee Chairman on Diaspora also called on the Government at all tiers to ensure economic growth and development.

    On her part, the Rep member renewed her vow of qualitative representation of her constituency at the green chambers, adding that “we all have different parts to play in this rescue mission of our country Nigeria”.

    She declared that she will continue to remain a grassroots person, adding that community activities as well as its development are major aspects of her life which she can’t do without despite her many engagements

    …as Letter Sent to Chairman House Committee on FERMA Yields Positive Results

    House of Representative Member, Rep. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has commended the Federal Ministry of Works on the recent tender issued by Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) in a national newspaper dated Monday, 4th of April 2022, for the Road Rehabilitation of Taska Junction Tipper Garage to Ayegun Oleyo to Baare.

    The House of Representatives Member applauded the Minister of works Babatunde Raji Fashola and the Chairman House of Reps. Committee on FERMA Rep. Bamisile Olufemi Richard for acknowledging her letter after her outburst on the decapitated condition of a road in her constituency.

    Akande-Sadipe had in March 2021 written a letter to the Chairman House Committee on FERMA titled “Request for Road Construction on Taska Junction, Tipper Garage to ayegun oleyo to Baare Road, Oluyole, Oyo State”.

    She said “I appreciate the fact that the Ministry under the leadership of Hon. Minister. Raji Fashola and the Chairman Ferma, Hon. Bamisile Olufemi Richard took into consideration our complaint last year, over the terrible conditions of the roads”.

    “I hope the Ministry would ensure that competent and reputable contractors are given the project awarded in the tender published by Vanguard Newspaper on Monday, to be executed in the full sum as stated in the 2022 budget.” She added.

    Akande Sadipe also noted that this road would come as a relief to the commuters who ply the route daily and would as well improve their standard of living.

    The Member, representing Oluyole Federal Constituency, Rep. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has congratulated the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as he celebrates his platinum jubilee at 70.

    The Lawmaker in a statement by her Media Aide, Lekan Olusada eulogized the sterling qualities of the Jagaban of Nigeria, describing him as an enigma, a unique progressive political leader like no other.

    “You have become a septuagenarian. Your life today is a signal from the guardian angels that they recognize your constructive ideas and deeds, and you will be generously rewarded for the same. Happy birthday to our wonderful enigmatic political leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu, A Trailblazer of our time. Your records are impeccable, your grooming incomparable, your contribution to national development, astonishing’”, the statement read in part.

    Wishing him a happy birthday on behalf of her constituency members and the people of Oyo at large, Akande-Sadipe, who was born on this day too, noted that the former Lagos State Governor and ex-Senator has served the nation with unfettered honour.

    “Asiwaju my leader, you have served the people with great honor and selflessness. The people of Oluyole Federal Constituency, Oyo state and I join others worldwide to wish you long life, peaceful reign on earth, good health, happiness, and the Almighty’s Blessings Grace and Favour. It is a great honor for me to share your birth date. Congratulations Sir and happy birthday”, she wrote.

    “Alao-Akala’s Death, a Huge Loss to Our State”, Says HoR Member, Akande-Sadipe

    The House of Representatives member representing Oluyole Federal constituency, Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has described the death of former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, as a huge loss, not just to Oyo APC, but to the Oyo State as a whole.

    Akande-Sadipe said this in a statement issued by her Media Aide, Olamilekan Olusada in Ibadan on Wednesday.

    According to Akande-Sadipe, late Alao-Akala  was an elder statesman, whose wealth of experience would be missed by all in the State chapter of the All Progressives Congress.

    “On behalf of members of our great party in Oluyole Federal constituency, I condole with the late Chief Alao-Akala’s loved ones, family members and the people of Ogbomosho, on the passing on to the glory of our father. This is a big loss to our party.

    I pray that God would usher his soul into eternal rest and grant the family he left behind fortitude to bear the loss. He will be sorely missed.
