    APC-IGG Congratulates Tinubu/Shettima On Election Tribunal Verdict

    APC Initiative For Good Governance (APC-IGG) have issued a congratulatory message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice Senator Kashim Shettima on their recent election victory by the Presidential Election Tribunal held Wednesday.

    Speaking to newsmen shortly after the judgement, the national coordinator of the initiative, Ambassador Musa Mohammed Tsoken disclosed that the judiciary remained a backbone of the democracy where the election tribunals are always committed to the protection of the mandate of the electorated.

    He reassured that President Bola Tinubu and his Vice would makes Nigeria great through their collective efforts and readiness to serve their electorates in every sector, where he called on the
    good people of Nigeria to gives their utmost contribution towards the development of this great country.

    Ambassador Tsoken commended the Secretary to the Government of the federation (SGF) Senator Dr. George Akume for his professionalism towards the progress of this country without bias, adding that “George Akume as our SGF remained our pride and we are certain that Nigeria would go well”. He lamented.

    ” On behalf of the national executives of our great initiative, the zonal and states coordinators as well as the local governments and wards leaders, I congratulates our President, his Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our dynamic Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima for winning in the presidential election tribunal and I called on the well meaning citizens to join our train in Salvaging our fatherland”. He concluded.

    In another development, the stakeholders of the Support group, APC Initiative For Good Governance announces thatv APC-IGG is partnering with over 1000 support groups as evidence in her national President massive engagements in galvanising and also to ensure the sustainability of Asiwaju-Shettima APC led administration.

    In this respect the Initiative in collaboration with other sister support groups to under the aegis of Asiwaju-Shettima Coalition For Good Governance which the national President Amb Musa Tsoken is coordinating the North-East and Barr Dr Adebayo Abdurraheem Shittu is coordinating in the national level inter alia.

    The Good Governance Initiatives therefore call on H.E. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint Amb Musa Muhammed Tsoken as Honourable Minister for Youths from Taraba State hence he has large youths coverage in the country and is a true youths activist as can be seen in his numerous activities and campaigns for youths and women empowerment.

    The Campaign train of All Progressive Congress, (APC) Presidential, National and State Assemblies was on Tuesday received by a mammoth crowd at Agasa-Uruvochinomi Juncture, Okene in Kogi state.

    The Governor while presenting the party flag to candidates thanked the multitude of supporters for their loyalty asserting that the achievements recorded by the present administration in execution of legacy projects would be small compared to what the APC government will consolidate when reelected into office.

    He also maintained that the party will continue to ensure truth and justice in all its activities, saying it will mobilize party supporters and bring on board as many as they can into the party.

    According to him, when the party comes back into power, the people of Kogi State will have a lot to benefit as projects will be attracted to the state in the overall benefit of the people.

    Governor Bello, who canvassed support for the Senatorial and House of Representatives as well as State House of Assembly candidates, promised that they will not regret doing so.

    Speaking earlier the Director General, Kogi State 2023 Presidential, Senatorial and State Assembly Campaign Council and Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku assured that the party had presented credible and popular candidates hence the victory of the APC at the polls was guaranteed.

    In his own remarks Director-General, Kogi Central Campaign Council, Abubakar Adagu, described Governor Yahaya Bello as a leader who is concerned about the well being and growth of the party.

    While acknowledging the Governor’s efforts at transforming the state, he assured that all APC candidates will be voted into office for more dividends of democracy.

    Adagu also commended the Governor for being an exemplary leader who has produced men of proven integrity to lead, assuring of the people’s support

    Shendam Old Students Endorse Lalong For Senate; Pledge To Support Tinubu/Shettima

    Impressed by his achievements, contributions and support to his alma mater, members of Shendam Old Students Association (SOSA) has thrown their weight behind Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong for his election to the Senate to represent Plateau South Senatorial District.

    The members who made their stand known at the 5th National Convention and Award Presentation held at the school in Shendam said the Governor has made the school proud by his personal achievements and success in politics which has resulted in rapid development of the school.

    Chairman of SOSA Comrade Emmanuel Dashe said the Governor has proven that with hardwork, determination and God’s grace, anyone can rise from humble beginnings to any height.

    He said as an ambassador of GSS Shendam, the Governor has not only given a good account of himself but put the school’s name in good light through his performance as Governor of Plateau State, Chairman Northern Governors Forum and Director General of the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council. He said they are fully behind him and are sure that he will take Plateau State to prominence in national politics.

    In a keynote address, Guest Speaker at the Convention and a member of first set of the school (SOSA 1978) Prof. Garba Sharubutu said SOSA members have come a long way and must appreciate God for raising them from a humble beginnings to greatness.

    Prof. Sharubutu who is the Executive Secretary Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria said the school is privileged to have produced many eminent personalities including the Governor, Professors, Vice Chancellor, Permanent Secretaries, Speakers, Senior Security Officers among others.

    He praised Governor Lalong for being a shining star of the school and carrying along his school mates in various ways, saying the endorsement for the Governor’s Senatorial bid as well as his Principal Asiwaju was in order because he needs to continue his great work at the Federal level where he already has wide contact and commanded influence based on his performance.

    Commissoner for Secondary Education Mrs. Elizabeth Wapmuk said SOSA has been united, energised and refocused by the Governor whose passion for education has seen the sector being transformed rapidly.

    Wapmuk appreciated SOSA for supporting the school with infrastructure, facilities and even teachers.

    Principal of the school Mrs. Susan Dandam said the old students have made the school proud by constantly completing the efforts of the State Government.

    Dandam praised the Governor for changing the face of the school through development of infrastructure, manpower and the facilitation of other donor support such as the World Bank assisted AGILE project.

    In his speech, Governor Lalong recalled with nostalgia his days at GSS Shendam where he said the teachers did their best to instill discipline and also give then quality education.

    He commended the pioneer leaders of SOSA for laying the solid foundation upon which the school alumni is standing on. According to him, the school has done a lot to raise people that represented Plateau and Nigeria in various endeavours who need to be recognised and celebrated.

    Lalong said the principles of love, tolerance, unity and peace which were taught in the school have continued to guide his conduct as a politician whose passion is for bringing people together irrespective of religion, ethnicity and other differences.

    He told them that as DG of the APC Presidential Campaign Council and Chairman Northern Governors Forum, he knows the benefits of national politics and being in the mainstream which benefits more people than being in opposition and always complaining of marginalization.

    He thanked SOSA for supporting him over the years and also affirming their willingness to vote for him for Senate as well as for Tinubu/Shettima ticket.

    The Governor presented an 18 seater bus for the school on behalf of his class of set 82. He also visited the student hostels.

    He also recieved an award for exemplary service and achievement in transforming the State.

    The Women wing of the APC campaign association has been inaugurated at Dambatta under the leadership of a renown APC stalwart and member of the Dambatta local government executive council Hajiya Alpha Dambatta popularly known as(Maman Maja).

    The ceremony which was held at Dambatta local government Secretariat and  well attended by many bigwigs politicians across Dambatta/Makoda federal constituency, the association’s founder announced that they are set to campaign for APC and all the candidates seeking elective position under the party in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

    Hajiya Alpha Dambatta disclosed that ” we  have over 5000 membership across Dambatta/Makoda local government areas, and we promised to work selflessly for the success of Tinubu/Shettima as president and vice president, Gawuna/Garo as Kano  state governor and deputy, Senator Barau Jibrin for Kano North senatorial District, Honourable Hamisu Chidari for House of representative and Thomas for state assembly”.

    Similarly, Maman Maja added that  APC would win with wider margin in Dambatta and Makoda local governments because the party has brought so many developmental projects that have changed the lives of the citizens under the administration of governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, where she reassured that women across the constituency would vote APC.
