    Lawmaker Commissions Seven Transformers, Five Boreholes, School Projects in Oluyole

    The Member representing Oluyole Federal Constituency, Rep. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has commissioned seven transformers, five boreholes and seven school projects for the people of her constituency.

    A statement by the Federal Lawmaker’s Media aide, Olamilekan Olusada on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, indicated that the commissioning started on Thursday at different locations in Oluyole Federal constituency.

    According to the statement, the lawmaker commissioned solar powered boreholes, located at Temidire – Agbamu; Ile – Baale Omiyale; Alagba olomi; Ajisola and Seko areas of Oluyole.

    Rep Akande-Sadipe also commissioned transformers located at Ajofeebo; Oorelope Isale-Alfa; Kolajo; Olomi; Idi-Ayunre Police Station and Alata. The transformers are of 500/32 Kva capacity each.

    The school projects commissioned are located at Ajofeebo, Agbamu, Ifesowapo, Boluwaji and Olonde areas of Oluyole.

    Likewise, the newly commissioned 3-6 classrooms per block, are equipped with modern instructional materials, comfortable desks and chairs, replacing dilapidated structures.

    Talking at the borehole locations, Rep. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe said provision of water was a fulfilment of her commitment to the well-being of her constituency.

    Akande-Sadipe also said the development gladdens her heart, adding that she has been able to provide safe water to her constituency, while she has also facilitated electricity and quality education in Oluyole.

    “The 5,000 litres solar powered boreholes throughout the wards of Oluyole Federal constituency, is a significant milestone for our local government ” the Rep member said.

    “The provision of 500/33KVA transformers being commissioned today in different locations, is one of our major campaign pillars.  Many  of these communities have lived without electricity for years and I pray this will definitely provide relief to our people,” she said.

    She added that provision of solar powered street lights would improve security in communities at night and promote small-scale businesses.

    “Several of these communities have also benefited from the last batch of 100 solar street lights facilitated by me”, she said.

    “This is just the start of the commissioning; there are many more to visit in the coming weeks”, added her media aide.

    Appreciating the Lawmaker through official letters, the beneficiary communities applauded the unprecedented feats of Rep. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe.

    They equally commended her gesture, saying Akande-Sadipe’s resolve to ensure qualitative  education for children was highly commendable.

    The letters also indicated that they have never experienced such widespread dividend of Democracy in the history of Oluyole.

    The commissioning ceremonies were attended by Traditional rulers, top clerics, political leaders, and community leaders in Oluyole Federal Constituency.

    In a bid to boost rural electrification, enhance socio-economic activities and tackling security challenges, Nasarawa State Government has donated four Transformers to Umaisha /Ugya State Constituency of the Speaker of the State Assembly, Rt Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi.

    To this end, the people has thrown their weight behind the all inclusive administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule and the purposeful leadership style of the Speaker of the State Assembly, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi.

    Speaking in an interview with newsmen in Umaisha, the HeadQuarters of the Development Area, the Overseer of the Area, Iliyasu Usman Miryam expressed joy with the development and appreciated Gov. Sule and Speaker Balarabe for the concern they have for the people.

    The overseer, who was overwhelmed with the development thanked Governor Abdullahi Sule for the gesture and reassured him of his people support at all times.

    On their parts, former Chairman, Toto Local Government, Prince Nuhu Adamu Daudu and the APC Chairman of the Local Government Shuaibu Ahmed , who both hailed from Umaisha commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for the donation of the transformers and their representative, the Speaker of the State Assembly Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who lobbied for the Transformers for the passion he has for his people.

    They revealed that already the Speaker has approved that two of the transformers be installed in Umaisha, the headquarters of the Development Area, one in Ugya, one of the satellite towns in the area and the other in kanyahu ward respectively.

    Prince Nuhu Adamu Dauda and Shuaibu Ahmed reassured Governor Abdullahi Sule and Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi of the people of the area commitment to give them all the necessary support to succeed beyond 2023.

    They also called on the people of the area to continue to sustain peace and unity been enjoy in the area and continue to support government of the day for more democratic dividends.

    Federal Lawmaker, Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, has provided six (6) boreholes, eight (8) transformers and one hundred and twenty (120) solar lights for residents in Oluyole Federal constituency.

    This, the House of Representatives Member, who also chairs the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs said was in line with her campaign promises.

    Akande-Sadipe, who is the only female Rep from Oyo State, said the transformers are of 500KVA capacity each, promising more to other communities.

    Recall that, the federal lawmaker had earlier held a Mega Empowerment scheme where she gave out 15 cars, 35 laptops, 40 Freezers, 47 Grinding Machines and 47 Sewing Machines, to members of her constituency.

    Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe implored the communities to ensure proper maintenance of the facilities provided, noting that over twenty transformers and over twenty boreholes have been provided under her administration and proper maintenance is necessary to sustain the social amenities provided.

    Promising members of Oluyole constituency of her continuous efforts to alleviate poverty, Akande-Sadipe further urged them to shun any act that could tarnish the good image of Oluyole Federal Constituency.

    She said: “The provision of potable water through these solar-powered boreholes and provision of solar lights and transformers is another significant milestone to me”.

    “All these projects are in fulfillment of my campaign promises to address the gaps in the basic needs of people across the constituency.”

    Residents of the beneficiary communities, including Orisunmibare General, Irewolede, Kolajo, Ayedade and Idiroko lauded Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, saying the Federal Rep had done her part by bringing the facilities to their doorstep.

    Member, House of Representatives, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, has facilitated and installed transformers to three communities in Oluyole Federal Constituency of Oyo State to boost power supply. 

    This, she said, is part of her commitment on electrification and in fulfilment of her vow that Oluyole constituency would witness more developments from the Federal Government.

    She facilitated three 300KVA transformers, situating one in each community. The communities are Orelope Isale-Alfa; Papa Eleye and Irepodun, Abey technical, Liberty academy road.

    Akande-Sadipe, who Chairs the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs said, “In fulfillment of my commitment to my constituency, yesterday, the good people of Orelope Isale-Afla General Community, Papa Eleye and Irepodun, Abey technical, Liberty academy road Communities joined the transformer beneficiary list, by taking delivery of new transformers for their respective Communities”.

    Speaking during the installation exercise, Honourable Akande-Sadipe, represented by her aide, Engr. Kunle Fadiran assured her constituents that more infrastructural projects, youth empowerment programmes, job opportunities, among others, would be facilitated to the communities under her representation.

    Meanwhile, residents of the communities have applauded the lawmaker on the projects and tasked her not to relent in bringing more projects to the communities.

    The Chairman Orelope Isale-Alfa General Community, Alhaji Adebisi Dauda while speaking during the installation exercise, expressed happiness regarding the transformers and expressed confidence that the lawmaker has impacted the communities.

    He explained that the community has been in darkness for some time as all efforts made by people of the community were futile. He, therefore, thanked the lawmaker, on behalf of the residents of Isale Alfa General Community, for coming to their aid and prayed she would never walk in darkness.
