TCN MD Urges Unified HR Policy Implementation Across 10 Regions

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Engr. (Dr.) Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz, has directed heads of Human Resources in the company to ensure consistent and unified implementation of HR policies across its 10 regions.

Abdulaziz gave the directive while declaring open a three-day workshop for HR heads at TCN’s corporate headquarters in Abuja. The workshop, themed “Aligning HR Practices and Procedures Across TCN,” focused on strengthening standardisation and accountability within the organisation.

According to the TCN chief, consistency in human resource management is essential to maintaining professionalism and operational efficiency.“Consistency in HR practices is not a luxury, but a necessity,” Abdulaziz said, pledging management’s support in positioning the HR department as a strategic driver of the company’s growth and performance.The workshop featured paper presentations and strategy sessions aimed at harmonising procedures and improving coordination among regional offices.

Participants included the Executive Director, Human Resources and Change Management, Mrs. Abiodun Afolabi; the Executive Director, Transmission Service Provider, Engr. Dr. Oluwabenga Ajiboye; and HR heads from the company’s regional offices.TCN operates Nigeria’s national electricity transmission network and plays a central role in power sector operations.
