Team Delta maintains lead with 275 Medals

Team Delta on Wednesday garnered 275 medals to maintain a lead in the Medals table at the ongoing 21st National Sports Festival, tagged Delta 2022.

The medals is made up of 146 Gold, 78 Silver and 51 Bronze.

Team Bayelsa got 103 medals to follow with 40 Gold, 23 Silver and 40 Bronze medals.

Other Teams: Edo has 138 medals- 28 Gold, 42 Silver and 68 Bronze medals; Lagos got 80 medals with 16 Gold, 33 Silver and 31 Bronze medals while Oyo has 55 medals with 15 Gold, 20 Silver and 21 Bronze medals.

Speaking to newsmen in a Press Conference held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium media centre, the Chairman Media and Publicity Sub Committee, Mr. Charles Aniagwu said Delta is determined to host and win.

On the venues for the competition, Aniagwu said Delta would continue to improve on the maintenance of both sporting and accommodation venues to make the competition stress free.
