The Kogi East Zonal VC of APC, late Hon. Mikhail Mohammed laid to rest in Odu

The Kogi East Zonal Vice Chairman of APC, Hon. Mikhail Mohammed was today in Odu – Ogboyaga in Dekina local government area laid to rest.

According  to a press statement by  Unubi Emmanuel, the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor,
said Late Hon. Mikhail Suleiman Mohammed passed on in the early hours of Friday at his residence in Lokoja at the age of 46.

Until his demise he was the Kogi East Zonal Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He is survived by his wife and six children.

The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, represented by his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu, led a delegation of government officials to accompany the remains of the deceased from Lokoja to Dekina Local Government Area.

The Governor paid his respects through his Deputy at the funeral of the late Kogi East Zonal Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Mikhail Suleiman Mohammed, in his hometown, Odu-Ogboyaga.

The Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu, led a delegation of government officials to accompany the remains of the deceased from Lokoja to Dekina Local Government Area.

Among the dignitaries present were the Auditor General of the State, Alhaji Yakubu Yusuf Okala, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Hilary Ojoma Egwudah, along with Commissioners and appointees of the Governor from Kogi East. The Director General of Kogi State Community Watch and Ancillary Matters, Hon. Muhammed Nasiru Alfa, was also in attendance, Council Chairmen, Divisional Party Chairmen, and party stalwarts respectively.

The funeral which was conducted according to Islamic rites was accompanied with heartfelt tributes from party faithfuls, community leaders, and business associates, as they bid farewell to Hon. Mikhail Suleiman Mohammed.
