Thousands Of APC Members dump party for PDP In Kwara

No fewer than 1200 All Progressives Congress members in Oloje ward in Ilorin East local government area of Kwara State at the weekend declared their support for People Democratic Party (PDP) and Senator Bukola Saraki.

The defectors who gathered at their meeting venue in Oloje junction said they dumped APC as result of abandonment of their members and political group by leaders of the party. And expressed optimistic that their new marriage with PDP will bring dividends of democracy to their constituency and members.

Receiving the defectors, Special Adviser to the Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed on political matters, honourable Toyin Olokooba said “ I am very delighted seeing the numbers of people joining PDP today, and it is an evidence that APC can never change from their deceit and empty promises that made our leader Senator Bukola Saraki left the party”

“It is a strong message to others who are still with APC to come and join us in PDP because nobody in APC from Kwara State have Capacity to drive meaningful project or appointments to the state since number 3 man in Nigeria, Dr Bukola Saraki left the party”

In his speech, the coordinator of the group Mr Lukman Jaji said “we joined the People Democratic Party (PDP) because of the purposeful leadership of Senator Bukola Saraki and we strongly believe that our new marriage will attract something meaningful to our constituency and members in particular” he said.
