This warning came during the opening of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Inaugural Annual International Lecture on Thursday in Abuja. The President emphasized the government’s commitment to tackling security challenges in Nigeria, particularly in the Sahel region.

The lecture, titled “Insecurity in the Sahel (2008-2024): Dissecting Nigeria’s Challenges – Genesis, Impacts and Options,” aimed to address the ongoing insecurity in Nigeria. The management of NAN organized this event to tackle pressing issues. Experts, policymakers, and security officials gathered to discuss potential solutions.

Tinubu’s call for action arises amid rising insecurity in Nigeria. It has severely affected the lives of many citizens. He stated that the government understands these challenges.
