In a heart-wrenching incident, bandits struck Unguwan Dorowa Bakhira, a Maro community settlement in Kaduna State. During an early Sunday raid, they took the life of the village’s sole teacher, Mr. Sunday Akorh, who was originally from Benue State. Regrettably, a married couple also fell victim to the assailants.
Fortunately, local sources report that no one was abducted during the attack. Maigari Ben, a resident and community leader, confirmed the distressing incident, emphasizing that Mr. Sunday Akorh was the only classroom teacher in the village’s primary school.
As of the time of this report, efforts to reach the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, by phone were unsuccessful.
