Transfer News: Liverpool Lead ₦125B Osimhen Chase as Real Madrid Eye Rodrygo–Wirtz Swap Deal

Liverpool are reportedly leading the race to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, with the 26-year-old Galatasaray star valued at around €75 million (≈ ₦125 billion). The prolific forward, who has scored 46 goals in 52 matches for the Turkish champions, is also on the radar of Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Fanatik via Sports Illustrated, the Reds see Osimhen as the ideal signing to reinforce their frontline ahead of next season, with the club’s hierarchy eager to secure a deal early amid mounting competition from Europe’s elite.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are reportedly considering a stunning swap deal involving Rodrygo and Florian Wirtz. Per Defensa Central, the Spanish giants view Wirtz as a long-term creative solution in midfield, while Liverpool, who admire Rodrygo’s versatility, could be open to discussions if the financial terms align.

Elsewhere, Manchester United are back in the hunt for Javi Guerra of Valencia. The 22-year-old Spain U21 international has a €100 million release clause, but reports from The Peoples Person suggest he could be available for €25 million (≈ ₦41.5 billion). United’s scouts believe Guerra’s physicality, technical ability, and composure on the ball make him a natural fit for the Premier League and a key piece in their midfield rebuild.

In another development, Live 4 Liverpool reports that Liverpool are preparing a bid for Antoine Semenyo, the 25-year-old Ghanaian winger currently at Bournemouth. Semenyo, under contract until 2030, has impressed with his pace, strength, and eye for goal. Bournemouth are expected to demand a significant fee, but Liverpool’s determination to add another top-tier attacker suggests they are serious about reshaping their offensive options ahead of the 2026 campaign.
