Two L.G.A in Adamawa has set impeachment threats to the deputy governor over communal crisis

Adamawa state deputy governor, Crowther seth faced impeachment threats over allegation involvement in the destruction of lives and property following the incessant attacks of Lunguda and Waja communities of Guyuk local government area of the state.

The people on Monday protested that Crowther Seth is sacked over the role he played as an allege accomplices on the recent attacks of Dumna-Boshikiri that led to the killing of many people.

The people who held placards of various inscription asking the Executive Governor of the State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to remove his deputy for harbouring a criminal and a suspected planner, Halilu SY (sarkin Yaki) known as SY who is from Lamurde to have masterminded all the attacks in Guyuk communities.

The Governor was received by the IDPs, protesting against Crowther, carrying placards with the inscription: Arrest Halilu (SY), he is the cause of the problem Deputy Governor harbouring Halilu SY.

The stakeholders lamented that Lunguda communities were razed down in the wake of the attacks by the alleged nocturnal gunmen who raided at night.

The same deputy governor was alleged to have been behind the arrest of only the Hausa Muslim by the policemen in the Ethno-religious crisis in Tingno some weeks previously, where the Hausa community was gruesomely attacked by the tribal militia.

The governor while responding, said he would set up a panel of enquiry to find out the immediate and remote causes of the crises, assuring that law would take its course.

Political observers have however articulated that the Lunguda has lost confidence that there would be good governance due to the unending motivate by politics crises in their communities among other parts of the southern senatorial district of the state.
