Unknown Gunmen Kidnapped Enemona Josh Foundation President In Kogi

Barely few hours of his sensitisation outreach on drug Abuse in C.O.E, Ankpa, the President and Founder of Enemona Josh Humanitarian Foundation, Ambassador David Enemona Onoja has been abducted by yet to be identified gunmen in his house at Wada road Lokoja.

According to family source , Onoja was picked from his house around 10:30 am on Thursday by six gunmen who dressed in police uniform armed with AK-47 and bullet proof vest.

The source added that the gunmen came to the resident of the philanthropist in a sienna bus moroun colour and manhandled him before they whisk him away to yet to be identified destination.

Meanwhile, the correspondent chapel of Kogi state council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ) has condemned in strong term the adoption of Ambassador David Enemona Onoja in the state.

In a release signed by the chairman of the chapel, Comrade Friday Idachaba and the secretary Salihu Oyibo blamed the high rate of insecurity in the society
on government’s insincerity.

The statement called on the state government, the police command, Army, Civil defence, hunters association and other security operatives to intensify efforts to bring Ambassador David Enemona Onoja back alive.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Sp. William Ayah confirmed the incident.
