Vegetables dealers association condole the families of those who lost their lives as a result of the fire outbreaks at Badume market and symphasised with those who lost properties during the infermo.
In a statement issued by the Chairman of the association, Alhaji Usman Dan Gwari and made available to our correspondent, the association described the incident as very shocking especially when there is lost of lives and properties worth millions of naira.
” On behalf of the vegetables growers and dealers across Kano and Jigawa states, I wish to condole the families of those who lost their lives during the infermo and symphasised with all those who lost properties as a result of the midnight fire outbreak at Badume market last Friday night”. The statement read.
Similarly, the association commended the executive chairman of Bichi local government council, Dr. Yusuf My hammed Sabo for constituting a committee that would investigate and bring out strategies that would tackle further occurance of fire outbreaks in the markets, and thanked the emir of Bichi for symphasising with the victims since the occurance of the incident.
In conclusion, the association announced their readiness to contribute inmmensly to bring an end to fire outbreaks at Badume market and restore profitable bussiness at the market for economic development and self-reliant.
