Veteran Nollywood Actor Fabian Adibe Reportedly Dead at 82

Veteran Nollywood actor, Fabian Adibe, has reportedly passed away at the age of 82.

The news was first shared by entertainment blogger Cutie Juls on Instagram, stating that the actor died in the early hours of Wednesday, August 20, 2025. However, no details about the circumstances of his death were disclosed.

Confirming the development, celebrity journalist Seun Oloketuyi also announced Adibe’s passing in a Facebook post, writing: “Things Fall Apart actor Fabian Adibe is dead. 2:30am this morning. Details later.”

Fabian Adibe, popularly known for his roles in Things Fall Apart and other Nollywood classics, was widely respected for his contributions to the Nigerian movie industry. Tributes are already pouring in from fans and colleagues, mourning the loss of one of Nollywood’s veterans.
