We are monitoring funds used for the Purchase of Presidential forms- EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says that it is monitoring the sources of funds used in buying political forms.

EFCC Chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa said this on Friday,on a Channels Television Programme-Politics Today.

So far,the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC) has sold it forms for 100million naira ,20 people have purchased it for now and the opposition party (PDP) has sold it forms at 41m with 17 people obtaining it for now as well.

Bawa reacting to this said the EFCC will be working with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ascertain the sources of their funds; noting that 100m is alot of money and most people may not see it on their life time.

The EFCC Chairman, said the commission is working hard to ensure that corrupt Persons are not voted into leadership positions in the country.
