Nigerian skit maker and influencer Maraji has publicly taken aim at billionaire politician Ned Nwoko over his ongoing marital issues with his estranged wife, Regina Daniels.
In a series of posts on Instagram, Maraji criticised Nwoko for repeatedly offering public explanations about Regina’s alleged behaviour. She mocked his attempts to justify himself, suggesting that he should have anticipated what she described as “childish attitude” when he chose to marry a much younger woman.
“We believe you, grandpa,” she wrote. “All these explanations you’re giving up and down—there’s no need. You said she drinks, smokes, and does drugs, we believe you. When elders see a child misbehaving, they just say, ‘She’s a child.’ Accept it.”
“Look for a Mature Woman” — Maraji Counsels Nwoko
Maraji went on to advise Nwoko to avoid younger women moving forward and instead seek partners closer to his age.
“Maybe next time when you see a small child, you will leave her, so she won’t bring childish behaviour into your house,” she added. “When you’re looking for a woman, look for someone mature. This one you’re going up and down explaining—for what? Are you explaining to us? What exactly did you expect?”
Her remarks have since sparked intense debate on social media, further fueling public interest in the unfolding drama between Nwoko and his estranged wife.
