Wife of Langtang South LGA boss  Mrs Nbin empowers female students

Wife of the Executive Chairman Langtang South Local Government Dinci Nanfa Nbin , on Wednesday empowered  a number of Orphans, and indigent pupils selected across primary schools in the Council
Our correspondent reports that this was in continuation of the celebration of the international day of the girl child held at Government Secondary school Mabudi.
Speaking at the occasion Mrs Nbin emphasized the importance of promoting girls rights to education and employment.
 Recognising the importance of personal hygiene especially during menstruation, she said every girl child deserves some basic needs like sanitary towels,pads and other health products during menstruation and she is committed to providing such.
Also speaking during the event marking the 16 days of activism on gender base violence, a resource person Justina Binyir Audu urged the students to put in thier best in their academic pursuit and never allow any boy to confuse them at this stage of their lifes.
In her speech, the Deputy Chairman Langtang South Hon, Chief Julcit Musa Nanpon assured the female students of governments commitment to building a future where every girl have access to quality education, health care and economic opportunities.
A statement signed by Butko  Bako Iliya, the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman Langtang South Local Government reads that highlights of the occasion was the presentation of Sanitary pads, towels and cash support to the students.
The statement added that the occasion was witnessed by  a representative of the Area director ministry of education, the PDP Women Leader in the LGA,as well as wives of Legislators representing the electoral wards of Langtang South  and other supporters.
