By Milcah Tanimu

A woman identified as Ina Thea Kenoyer has been arrested and charged with the murder of her boyfriend, Edward Riley Jr, just hours after he inherited millions of dollars. This shocking incident occurred in Minot, North Dakota.

According to police records cited by The New York Post, Mr. Riley fell ill on September 3 while meeting his lawyer to collect an inheritance of approximately $30 million. Kenoyer, his girlfriend, reportedly delayed calling emergency services until the next day. When paramedics arrived, they found the 51-year-old unresponsive.

Subsequently, Mr. Riley was transported to a Bismarck hospital, where he tragically passed away on September 5. A post-mortem examination revealed that the cause of death was poisoning.

The Investigations Commander, Captain Dale Plessas, described this case as “extremely complex” and expressed gratitude to those who provided information that aided the investigators in piecing together the details.

Ina Thea Kenoyer has been charged with Class AA Felony Murder and is currently in custody at the Ward County Jail. The investigation into this disturbing incident is ongoing.
