Woman Brutally Beats 5-Year-Old Girl for Taking Food

By  Milcah  Tanimu

In a deeply distressing incident, a woman known as FA, residing in Murray Town Barracks, is alleged to have subjected a 5-year-old girl to severe physical abuse for the apparent transgression of taking food from a cooking pot. What makes this even more heartbreaking is that the child had been deprived of food throughout the day, unbeknownst to her caregiver.

This young girl had recently been brought to live with FA, her aunt, who had summoned her from the village to assist with domestic chores in her household.

An eyewitness to the incident revealed that this incident is unfortunately not an isolated one, as FA is said to have subjected the child to various forms of abuse under the pretext of discipline.

Disturbingly, FA seems to boast about her husband’s military profession, suggesting that this status grants her immunity from any consequences, even involving the authorities.

This tragic situation unfolds in Capt. Thoranka’s compound, within the confines of Murray Town Barracks, where the young girl’s well-being remains at risk. It is crucial for the appropriate authorities to investigate this case and ensure the safety and protection of the child involved, as no one should endure such abuse, regardless of their circumstances or the perpetrator’s affiliations.
