Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across the country on the occasion of Eid-Maulud, urging them to embrace the teachings of Prophet Muhammad as a guide for peaceful and prosperous living.
In his message, Umahi called on the Muslim Ummah to uphold values of peace, love, unity, and harmony, stressing that these remain essential for the nation’s social stability and development.
“It is with profound pleasure that I felicitate with millions of Muslim faithful, and indeed Nigerians, on this auspicious commemoration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This celebration reminds us to always uphold the Prophet’s moral teachings and message of unity and love,” he said.
He further noted that such values align with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda, which seeks to unlock Nigeria’s potential for abundance and prosperity.
“As you celebrate this remarkable event, may God fill your hearts with joy, peace, and blessings,” the Minister added, while extending best wishes on behalf of his family and the Federal Ministry of Works.
