Gov. Ishaku assured Takum residents in Taraba of 24 hours power supply.

Taraba state Governor Darius Ishaku Dickson has assured residents of Takum local government area of Taraba twenty four hours power supply after the commissioning of the Kashimbila 40MW Power project.

Governor Ishaku stated this in his home town Takum local government area of state when he visited the town for the first time since his re-election as governor of the state in 2019.

The Governor stressed that with the completion of the Kashimbila hydro power project there will be more power supply in the state.

” Very soon I assure you of twenty four hours power supply when the Kashimbila 40MW power project is commissioned 10 MW will be channel to Takum, Donga and near by communities and there will be uninterrupted power supply”

He further noted that his intervention in the Takum General Hospital has provided quality health care services and the eventual treatment of hypathesis which has hitatho affected the people in the region.

” When we came on board in my first tenure we noticed that the people of Takum were suffering from hypathesis so we started testing and vaccination now that is solved”.

Ishaku who was received by larger number of kinsmen and joyful party supporters also attributed his absence from his home town for a long period due to ill health.

“I have wanted to come spend the Christmas with my family in Takum last year but I fell ill and you known anyone of us can fall sick at anytime” he said.

The Governor is also expected to cast his vote at the forth coming council elections slated for 30th June 2020 in his home town Takum local government area of there state.
