Zamfara State Governor Directs Revival of Livestock Centers To Boost Revenue

As part of efforts to diversify the state’s economy, Gov. Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun) of Zamfara State has directed the revival of Livestock investigation and Breeding centres in the state.     The state commissioner for Budget and Economic planning, Alhaji Ibrahim Jibo, made this known when he led officials on a fact-finding visit the one Of centres in kwatarkwashi town in Bungudu Local government area of the state.    The commissioner said’ if properly utilsed, the centres would attract more revenue for the state to complement revenue from the mining of solid minerals.       The commissioner was accompanied by the permanent secretary in the ministry, the General manager, state Agency for community and social Development, Alhaji Kabiru Gayari and two others.   Three other Livestock Centers are located in Gusau, Mada and Gidan Haha towns in Gusau and Zurmi Local government Areas of the state.
