2019 – Plateau Central Senatorial candidate vows to empower youths ,women if elected

Flag bearer of the Green Party of Nigeria (GPN )for Plateau Central Senatorial district in the forthcoming 2019 elections Comrade Santos Larab, at the weekend said he would implement Laws and policies that will create and guarantee enabling environments for empowerment through holistic and quality education for the people of his zone if elected as Senator .

Larab made this known while speaking with newsmen in Jos the Plateau state capital .

My Senatorial district is blessed with so many hardworking youths who I would empower if elected ,”a lot of our youths are blessed with different talents and with just a little push can turn their situation around for good.

“I would introduce policies in support of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises(MSMEs) Financing that will empower Youths and Women”.

He further said he would introduce policies that will make mandatory and impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by Open Private Sector (OPS) in defined and critical sectors of the society.

“We would introduce policies that would support entrepreneurial spirit of youths as the engine room of society.”

Santos who lamented the level of unemployment in the country also vowed to introduce Laws and policies that will mitigate youth drug abuse, reduce crimes and guarantee security to the nation .

I would offer representation with warmness and tolerating all shades of opinions that will enhance the building of harmonious relationships among my constituents .

“I will stand as a model in self- discipline, accountability, transparency, truthfulness and honesty to duty of representation , i would adhere to being responsible to the needs of my constituency”
If elected i will represent by giving power and appreciate that it belongs to the constituents. It is only this that facilitates the growth of all irrespective of sentiments

Larab further said he would he would engage quality and credible representation in the empowering of his constituents to sustainable and enhance livelihood that will enhance economic wellbeing.

He also pledged to redefine representation by making sure that law making and oversight mandate in relation to health of the people of our constituency will be that of accessibility to quality health care at the primary and secondary levels.
