A leading Governorship Aspirant on the platform of the People’s Democratic party, PDP, in Benue State, Dr Paul Orkuma Ubwa, has assured that his administration will introduce policies that would impact positively the lives of the Benue citizens if elected Governor in 2023.
Dr Ubwa who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pleasure Travels Group of Companies gave the assurance while addressing his teeming supporters in Makurdi shortly after he had purchased the expression of interest and nomination forms.
The Gubernatorial Hopeful noted that he was in the race to bring development closer to the door steps of the Benue citizens if given the mandate.
Dr Ubwa stated that an administration led by himself would create massive job opportunities for the teeming youths of the state, stressing that if a good number of our youths are employed, it will reduce insecurity.
The Entrepreneur, further asserted that security of lives and property of the citizens will be accorded topmost priority, maintaining that development can’t take place in an atmosphere of insecurity.
The Aspirant contended that as an agrarian state, his government will introduce mechanized agriculture through partnership with foriegn investors, adding that his administration would provide infrastructure, which he described as a spring board towards achieving this.
Commenting on healthcare development, Dr Ubwa posited that he will bring policies that would address the health needs of the people.
According to the Guber Contender, Benue needs an experienced person like him to turn around the fortunes of the Benue citizens, averring that he would bring his vast experience as a successful entrepreneur to bear on Benue’s development if he becomes Governor.
The Industrialist lauded his supporters and well wishers over their sustained support towards the project and implored them to sustain it.
