2023: Atiku maintains strong lead in A’Ibom

PDP presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has maintained a strong lead in the result of the Presidential election conducted in Akwa Ibom on Saturday.

Result from 23 of the 31 Local Councils already released by INEC on Sunday in Uyo showed that the former Vice President won in 19 of the Local Councils.

Alhaji Bola Tinubu of the APC won in three  of the councils released while Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party recorded his lone victory so far in Ibiono Ibom Local Council.
