2023: Sokoto PDP Holds Meeting Of Stakeholders, Discuss Pressing Issues

In continuation of its 3 days stakeholders meeting, the Peoples Democratic Party led by the Campaigns Committee Council DG, Yusuf Sulaiman, series of activities aimed at moving the party forward were discussed, moreso presentation of ward executives from each of the 23 LGAs in the state.

Speaking during the closing ceremony, the state PDP Chairman, Bello Aliyu Goronyo said one of aims of the meeting was to create channels of winning all electoral offices come 2023 general elections.

“One of the major aims is to instruct our members to shun away from undesirable acts that could tarnish the image of our great PDP party and also to ensure our supporters are well mobilized come 2023 general elections”,averred Goronyo.

He said responsible people always maintain laws and orders of their country wherever they may find themselves.

Also at the brief ceremony, the Director General, Campaign Committee Council, Yusuf Sulaiman encouraged the party supporters of great and equal execution of Devidends of democracy if elected into power come 2023 elections.

The former Minister of Transport further said their party is certain to win all elections considering the caliber of contesting candidates the party has both at Federal, states and local governments levels.

“As the Director General of the Campaigns Committee Council in Sokoto, everything needed for the success of the elections have already been provided while others are awaiting their time, and that is basic truth”, said Sulaiman.

He then urged them to always investigate heresays and rumors before acting.

The meeting that ended late evening has in attendance all the party executives, contestants and major stakeholders.
