2027 : AM NOT SUPPORTING ANY CANDIDATE FOR NOW, WAITING FOR GOVERNMENT DIRECTIVE – FORMER NASARAWA SPEAKER BALARABE.

“… as he calls on politicians not to overheat the politics, says now is time for governance…”
From Leo Zwànke, Lafia
The Immediate Past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has said that the time is not ripe yet for 2027 politics instead it is time to pray, support and allow elected representatives to focus and deliver on their mandates.
This, Balarabe Abdullahi said when the time comes, Government will give them direction of where to go by and stakeholders will give their advice where necessary.
The Former Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi stated this when the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO)  of National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr. Faisal Shuaib paid him a sallah homage in his residence in Umaisha, Toto LG. Balarabe Abdullahi, who appreciated Dr Faisal for the visit said peace, unity and development of Toto LG and the State should remain their priority.
“First, let me thank God Almighty for the gift of life and for us to witness yet another sallah festival, I also thank you sincerely for finding time to identify with me, may God bless you
Secondly, to me the time is not ripe yet for 2027, we still have three years to go by, One year only has just gone, may God give us long life and sound health to witness 2027″.
For me, like every other civilians with democratic right, I stand with the government for the benefit of my people and when the time comes, I believe government will give us directions, stakeholders will advise accordingly and that is where we will belong and that will be the way to go for me and my people.
I have earlier told my people at the palace that this is not time for politics, I am not supporting any political aspirants for now, all we are doing is assessing our representatives to see their developmental efforts in our area, what they are bringing to the table for our people.
Leadership comes from God and he has designed the beginning to the end of the destiny of every one and no one have right or power to stop anyone’s destiny .And my brotherly advise is that operate with caution and be prayerful so that God will guide you and beware of bad eggs among you because some people are not what they claimed to be, that is the fact” Balarabe added.
Earlier, Dr Faisal Shuaib said he has come to identify with the former Speaker at sallah period as a political leader in the area and appreciated him for the good work he is doing for his people.
I have come with my entourage to pay you sallah homage as our political leader, I have visited His Royal Highness the Ohimegye at the palace to identify with him on this sallah before coming here.  Ohimegye has said a lot of good things about you, your peace, unity and developmental efforts in our land, we appreciate you for that and urge you to sustain the spirit. God Almighty will continue to bless you.
” Let continue to work for peace, unity and prosperity of our land” Dr Faisal added.
