Toyin Abraham Unfollows Funke Akindele After Viral Moment at Movie Premiere

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has unfollowed fellow actress Funke Akindele on Instagram following a widely shared video from a recent movie premiere in Lagos.

The footage, recorded at an event hosted by Iyabo Ojo, shows a brief interaction between both actresses. In the clip circulating online, Abraham is seen approaching Akindele, who appears engaged elsewhere, before moving on to greet other attendees.

Shortly after the video gained traction on social media, Abraham confirmed via her Instagram page that she had unfollowed Akindele. She also stated that she would no longer initiate greetings with her colleague.

The development has sparked mixed reactions online, with social media users sharing differing interpretations of the encounter. While some viewed the moment as a misunderstanding, others described it as a deliberate snub, though neither party has publicly provided further clarification on the incident.

As of the time of reporting, Akindele has not issued any statement regarding the viral video or Abraham’s response.
