The France chapter of the All Progressives Congress has announced plans to mobilise Nigerians in the diaspora in support of President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued Wednesday and signed by its chairperson, Amina Suzuki, the chapter said it would intensify grassroots mobilisation, voter education and strategic engagement both in Nigeria and abroad to secure victory for the APC ticket.
The group said its decision followed what it described as an evaluation of the administration’s performance, particularly in tackling economic challenges and implementing the Renewed Hope Agenda reforms.
According to the statement, members plan to return to Nigeria in large numbers to participate in campaign activities and voter outreach.
The chapter cited efforts to stabilise public finances, revitalise the oil and gas sector, and improve investor confidence as part of the administration’s achievements. It added that continuity in leadership would help consolidate reforms and maintain stability.
The endorsement comes amid differing public opinions over the administration’s record, with some Nigerians expressing concerns about economic conditions and governance outcomes.
The APC France chapter called on Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to support the party’s ticket in 2027.
