**22 Killed in Lewiston, Maine Shootings; Gunman Still At Large**

Tragic news emerged as at least 22 people were killed and many others injured in a series of shootings in Lewiston, Maine. The shootings occurred at a bowling alley and a local restaurant and bar. The identity of the gunman was not immediately known, and law enforcement agencies launched a manhunt to locate him. Police asked the public for assistance in identifying the shooter and a vehicle linked to the incident. Maine Governor Janet Mills was briefed on the situation, and President Joe Biden was also informed. The incident highlights the ongoing issue of gun violence in the United States, with more than 500 mass shootings recorded this year.
