Chairman emeritus of DAAR Communications, Raymond Dokpesi, over the weekend took a swipe at the APC and President Buhari describing the party as a “party branded in propaganda and lies.”

“Buhari was marketed to Nigerians on the false assumption that as a Major General, he has what it takes to end Boko Haram. “But the stack reality is that he does not know what to do, the man was overrated and let me tell you, Buhari has never passed any military exams in his life”, Dokpesi alleged.
Dopkesi spoke at Yola, capital of Adamawa state at the turbaning of Atiku Abubakar, PDP presidential candidate as ‘Wazirin Adamawa”.

Also at the occasion were two former presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan who led top dignitaries at the turbaning of Atiku Abubakar, PDP presidential candidate as ‘Wazirin Adamawa”.

also present were, the Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara, Speaker of the House of Representatives, who led a horde of National Assembly members to the occasion.
Governors Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa state), Udom Emmanuel (Akwa-Ibom), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto state), Ishaku Darius Dickson (Taraba state), Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe state) and Adulfatah Ahmed of Kwara state were also at the event which betrayed what was meant to be a cultural event, as PDP symbols saturated the city Yola with all major streets in the state capital decorated in PDP colors such that one would mistake the state for a PDP controlled one.

President Muhammadu Buhari who was represented by FCT Minister, Mohammed Bello congratulated Atiku for his new position and wished him a successful reign.
However, the ceremony was boycotted by the Governor of Adamawa state, Alhaji Jibrilla Bindo who was represented by his deputy, Martin Babale.
In his acceptance speech, Atiku assured the emirate council and traditional institution of his commitment to continue to work for peace and unity of the emirate and the nation in general.
