There are a number of conditions that affect a woman’s sexual drive. It is important to be aware of these conditions so as to enable you maintain a healthy sexual drive.

So, here are 3 things that affect women’s sexual drive:

1. Sexual trouble

It is obvious that anyone will be disinterested in something that is not comfortable for them. If sex hurts you or you experience discomfort, it will surely make you lose interest, which will gradually kill your sex drive. So if you begin to feel sexual discomfort, speak to your partner and see if he can find ways to make things better.

2. Exhaustion

The reason her sex drive might decrease could be due to the exhaustion of waking up multiple times a night, the stress of caring for a new baby, etc. When you are spending hours caring for a baby, it could be hard to feel sexy. So ask for help. You can divide baby duties between yourself and your partner so you are not too overwhelmed.

3. Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Hormone changes during pregnancy, just after having a baby and during breastfeeding can put a hindrance to sexual desire. Some women are also affected by the way their body looks and this will make them self-conscious. If it is hormones, then all you need is to be patient and have a patient partner.
