6 Foods to eat to add weight

There is gaining weight the right way and there is gaining weight the right way. Many are in such a rush to add a couple more pounds that they end up going about it the wrong way, with the wrong dietary plan. Nutritionists have provided information on the right meal plan to help you add some more weight the healthy way and some of the things you should be eating to ensure that you are on track include:

Protein Smoothies: This is one easy nutrient to put on your diet. It can be made from your kitchen and you have even prepared it before! Preparing your protein smoothie yourself is the best way to go about it as the one purchased publicly might lack the essential nutrients or might contain excessive sugar. It is easier to monitor the constituents of your homemade smoothies, a healthier choice.

Milk: You have maybe even heard of this bad boy. Milk has been adding pounds for a long while and is a go-to for healthy weight gain. It is a brilliant source of protein that can even do the job giving muscles when combining with the lifting of weight. You can consume it as a snack, a glass or two a day and watch out for a difference.

Nut Butter: This together with nuts are calorie-dense and can be infused into your diet. It can be consumed along with your smoothies. For a better result. It is advisable to consume 100% nuts containing non extra sugar or extra oil.

Potatoes: Potatoes and generally starchy food are cheap and affordable and contain glycogen which can help in building up your muscles and in general weight gain.

Pasta:is also a calorie-dense source. It can contain as much as 400 calories when prepared. It is a good addition to your diet if your goal is to attain weight gain.

Avocados:Avocados contain fatty acids, vitamin K, potassium, fiber and as much as 200 calories. Consumption is thereby safe because you will find that you are able to eat healthy without compromising on nutrition.

Although this might work for some of you, we cannot totally disregard the fact that many simply do not have the appetite and here are two little cautions that can be taken:

1. Be watchful of the time that you drink: Another thing that can possibly affect your appetite is surprisingly the time that you drink whatever. It is not something to thing to farther about. It is simply, many people have a habit of drinking before eating and where it does not necessarily take a toll of the appetite of some, it may have its effects on the appetite of others because you find that you are quickly filled up even when you have barely consumed anything.

2. Exercise : You may be wondering how exercising can possibly help you gain weight as it is the very thing that can be responsible for weight loss. Well the trick is pretty simple, exercising can help in building your appetite. This will prompt you to eat more.
