83 Nigerian Scholars Set to Depart for Morocco

A total of 83 Nigerian scholars are set to embark on their educational journey to Morocco under the Bilateral Education Agreement facilitated by the Federal Ministry of Education.

During the departure briefing, Minister of Education Tahir Mamman highlighted that the selection of these scholars aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He emphasized the ministry’s commitment to expanding partnerships with various development entities, many of which are now providing scholarships to Nigerian students.

Minister Mamman addressed the scholars, stating, “Your selection as scholars is part of a broader plan of deepening the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, which ensures that brilliant Nigerians, especially those that cannot afford to study programs that are not readily available in Nigeria, are supported to get necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies that would be useful in Nigeria’s development agenda.”

He also advised the departing scholars to represent their country well, reminding them of the significant investment Nigeria is making in their education. The minister encouraged them to learn and abide by the rules of their host countries and urged them to make their presence known to the Nigerian Embassy in Rabat.
