The aftermath convention of the All Progressive Congress(APC) would determine how the strength of the party would become in order to confront the forthcoming 2023 general elections as the ruling party.
This was stressed by the Kano North youth association for good governance in a statement signed and issued to newsman in Kano by the association’s president, Comrade Mustapha Umar Tallo Gwarzo.
The statement read ” APC’s might would be seen at the end of the 26th March national Convention where all the stakeholders would convene and elects the party’s national executives that would steer the affairs of the party as duly elected, and in this respect, the strength of the party would be assessed before the general elections”.
The group therefore called on all the relevant APC stakeholders, zonal leaders as well as the registered supports groups to work selflessly to ensure that the convention becomes successful and hitch-free in order to facilitate the party’s contuinity at all levels in the 2023 elections.
In conclusion, the association commended the APC caretaker committee chairman his Excellency Mai Mala Bruni and his members for putting the party on to a solid foundation that would ensure the conduct of the national Convention in a peaceful manner.
