By Samuel Itsede

Senator Muhammad Umar Jibrilla Bindow led a delegation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) excos, elders and stakeholders to congratulate the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha on his reappointment.

The delegation which include the Adamawa State party chairman, Ibrahim Bilal; former deputy governor, Hon MC Tahir; former special adviser to President Jonathan, Ali Gulak; Senator Jonathan Zwingina; former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Kobis Ari Thimnu, some federal and state lawmakers as well as former Adamawa State commissioners visited the SGF Tuesday.

The SGF thanked the delegation for finding him worthy of such a honorable congratulatory visit, attributing his success in his first term in office to the continuous prayers and support of the good people of Adamawa state.

Boss added that he is overwhelmed by the goodwill messages of every member of the delegation, promising that he will not let them down as he will strive to discharge his official responsibilities with honour and objectivity.

“I wish to urge you all to continue praying for the government as we are very lucky to have a competent and visionary leader like President Buhari at the helm of affairs in this country”, he added.

Speaking earlier, Senator Bindow thanked President Buhari for Boss’s reappointment and stressed that the SGF has an unequalled government management attribute and a special sense of duty that made his reappointment an easy one.

The immediate past Adamawa State governor added that Mustapha’s love for the state is second to none and he has worked very well for the growth and development of the state and his party, the APC.

He then thanked the good people of Adamawa state for their continued support and cooperation for the SGF and urged all and sundry to pray for the President, the SGF and Nigeria as a whole.

Also speaking, the National Vice chairman North-East of the APC, Comrade Mustapha Saliu, thanked the SGF on behalf of the party for his support at national and the state levels and urged him to continue to discharge his duties with diligence.

On his part, Senator Jonathan Zwingina commended Mustapha for using his office to normalize the relationship between the executives and the legislators while making time for party activities.
