After due consultations and deliberations between the Sokoto state APC governorship candidate for 2023 general elections, the stakeholders have unanimously resolved on Idris Muhammad Gobir from the eastern part of Sokoto as their governorship running mate.
Gobir, popularly known as Dan Chadi has worked in different disciplines of human development including Maritime and Petroleum industries where he served with the department of Petroleum Resources and Nigerian Ports Authority among others.
Addressing newsmen at the party Secretariat, the party Chairman Isah Sadiq Achida while introducing the running mate for Ahmad Aliyu said, Dan Chadi has held five Masters degree in various disciplines from Ahmau Bello University Zaria and presently pursuing for his Doctorate degree at the Nigerian Defence Academy, (NDA).
“Politically,Idris Muhammad Gobir is one of the political activists in Sokoto state and remains one of the m9st prominent in furthering and defending the interest of the people of Sokoto state especially in the fight against insecurity in the eastern part of Sokoto.
