Another Owo Massacre Victim Dies in Hospital

Another victim of the terrorist attack on St.Francis Catholic Church, Owo, has died while receiving treatment in a hospital.

Ondo Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Bamidele Ademola-Olateju who confirmed this after a state council meeting, said this brings the total number of those who died after the terrorist attack to 41.

She saidl

“One more death has been recorded as a result of the June 5 (2022) terror attack on St Francis Catholic Church, Owo.”

17 persons are still receiving treatment in a hospital after the attack. Ademola-Olateju who commiserated with the bereaved families and prayed for a speedy recovery of those still in the hospital, restated the state government’s commitment to having a memorial site built in honour of all the victims.
