Enumerators To Conduct 2022 NPA In Sokoto

Executive Chairman State Universal Basic Education Board Alhaji Altine Shehu Kajiji gave the assurance today 18/07/2022 in his office while receiving a team of enumerators to conduct the National Personnel Audit exercise in the state.

Alhaji Altine Shehu told them that Sokoto is known for its hospitality and comport to visitors hence the need for them to feel at home.

According to him the board has made necessary arrangements aimed at making their work easy inview of the great significance to compiling a comprehensive data regarding the number of Teaching and Non Teaching Staff,Pupils enrollment as well as Infrastructure in all the basic schools across the state.

He said key stakeholders were fully sensitized, enlightened and Mobilized on the exercise and the need to contribute towards it’s success.

These he said included Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education,Education Secretaries, Nigeria Union of Teachers, School Based Management Committee, Parent Teacher Association, Association of Private Schools Owners and Traditional Rulers among others.

Kajiji therefore urged them to be committed to conducting their assignment and completed it within the stipulated time as the board has provided them with guides such as Education Information Management System, Quality Assurance and Mobilization Officers of the board.

Also speaking the Permanent Secretary of the board Alhaji Ahmed Rufa’i Ibrahim who is also the 2022 National Personnel Audit Implementation Committee said adequate mobility such as vehicles and motorcycles were provided to ensure comfortable transportation of the enumerators from one school to another for wider and timely coverage.

Alhaji Ahmed Rufa’i also told the enumerators that a situation rooms will be provided right from the LGEA level to the board’s headquarters so as to receive information on any hitch for immediate response and action.

According to him unlike in the southern part of the country during the first phase of the exercise where the enumerators faced serious rejection by some private schools,here in sokoto owners of such schools were adequately inform and enlightened on the NPA through their association.

He said enumerators who were posted far from sokoto would be accommodated their until after the completion of the exercise.

It was witnessed by the Permanent Members, Directors and some Deputy Directors of the board.

Alhaji Ahmed Rufa’i in company of the Director Administration of the board Mubarak A Waziri later led the team of enumerators on a courtesy call to the Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education Alhaji Mohammed Bello Abubakar Gwuiwa.
