The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila has rejoiced with an Ibadan-born industrialist, Chief Kola Daisi, on his 90th birthday.
Gbajabiamila, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, said it was commendable that the Bashorun of Ibadan has dedicated his life to the service to humanity.
The Speaker also expressed delight that Chief Kola Daisi has metamorphosed from an industrialist to an educationist with his Kola Daisi University, which is one of the private universities to be proud of.
Gbajabiamila noted that “For those of us who have had the indescribable pleasure of knowing you, learning from you and benefiting one way or the other from your life, your birthday is an opportunity to say thank you for your generosity of spirit, and to thank God for the gift of you.
“I join the rest of the family, friends and admirers to wish you well, and to pray that the grace of God continues to guide you and watch over you all the days of your life,” Gbajabiamila said.
