Former gov. Shettima applauds successor Zulum

Senator Kashim Shettima,the immediate past governor of Borno state has showered encomiums on this sucessor,Prof.Babagana Umara Zulum,for stating on a good footing in taking the state to the next level.

The former governor represents Borno central at the National Assembly,made the commendation while addressing a momoth crowd in his Maiduguri residence, shortly after performing the two Rakaat Prayers together with Governor Zulum at the Ramat Square, Maiduguri.

” I commended Governor Zulum for starting on good footing, many governors have to fumble in the first days in office but you started on a good footing. I pledge my loyalty and support to your administration. I also call on all people of Borneo to Support you” Senator Shettima added.

Shettima said ” I call on all my lovers to support Governor Zulum, if you really love me support Zulum, if you do not, it means, you don’t love me. I am 100 percent loyal to Zulum”.

” we should all unite to move our state forward most especially during this period of post insurgency rebuilding process. I am also grateful to Governor Zulum for according me this respect to accompany me to my house and the people of Borno for their support. May Allah continue to guide and protect us Ameen”.

He appealed to those that have not made the list of the commissioners to exercise patience, as there are many opportunities in government.
